The Story
Alappuzha Canal House Retreat converted a 1900s trading-family townhouse along one of the town's quieter canals, and built its programme specifically around guests in their 60s and beyond — wider doorways, low-step bathing areas, and a Vaidya who specializes in Sandhivata (age-related joint) protocols rather than the more physically demanding detox formats common elsewhere.
